We have released a video of us tracking a live, alternate take of “quarantine blues” which was recorded in 2020. A different version of this original tune will be featured on Still, an upcoming duo album with drummer Tony Lee, which releases in the fall of 2022

Georgia on My Mind

I grew up just outside Augusta, GA across the South Carolina border. I also spent some great years living in Atlanta, GA as well. The whole country, and world even, was focused on the state of Georgia as we anxiously awaited the election results in November of 2020. Once the news broke I ran to the guitar and played the first tune that came to mine. Thank you to Stacey Abrams and all Georgians for their hard work.

Forever: A Tribute to Chick Corea

We lost a legend in 2021. Chick’s music inspired a group of friends to come together and play some of his tunes to celebrate his life, captured on a livestream for ColaJazz since we were still in the height of lockdowns and gigs were hard to come by. Perhaps most fitting, the resulting set list evokes a range of emotion, from unmistakable joy to meditative self-reflection, and finally, the spirit of celebration. Chick Corea Forever!
